On 25th December our Hon. D.G. Lion Vinod Kumar Agarwal visited our club officially in the presence of 2nd V.D.G Lion Dr. Devdas Mukherjee, Region Chairperson of Region-I Lion R.N. Daga, Zone Chairperson of Zone-II, Region-I, Lion Tamal Das Gupta and the members of our sponsor club, Lions Club Of Malda Greater. Our acting President Lion Saptarathi Satiar delivered the welcome speech. Lion Rama Sinha, the Club Secretary presented her secretarial report and also mentioned in her brief speech that the club is going through a tragic phase including her own absence from club due to some personal reasons, the severe illness of club president Lion Sajal Kundu and the accidental death of Club Member Lion Surojit Bose’s Mother in the AMRI incident but with all this circumstantial incidents the club is still going on with its projects and activities. On that day Lion Shantanu Bishnu also announced that the foundation of club’s dream project-”Clock Tower” along with collaboration of English Bazar municipality will be laid on “Postoffice more” in the presence of our respected D.G. on 15th of January 2012. After that our Hon. 2nd V.D.G. Lion Dr. Devdas Mukherjee and Region Chairperson Lion R.N. Daga delivered brief but inspiring speeches for our club. At the end our Hon. D.G. delivered his speech and also announced that a contestant from our club in the peace poster contest has achieved 2nd position in district and requested our club for 100% DFF to which our club’s response was positive and also invited our club to the district conference and he also gifted lions badges to some members of the club and in return our Club member Lion Kaushik Poddar gifted his own painted painting to D.G . The whole ceremony was mastered by Dr.D.P.Ray and the vote of thanks was also given by him. After the end of official ceremony a bonfire was organised by our club along with delicious dinner.

31st eve Celebration- Our Club celebrated the 31st Eve and welcome3d the New Year with groovy D.J. beats and delicious dishes with other clubs including Lions Club of Malda Rainbow, Lions Club of Gazole and Lions Club of Samsi.
