PERSONAL
Lion Hemant Kumar Agarwal was born in the year 1967 in the business family of Siliguri, which has always encouraged education in each of its generations and having professionals of each field and also his father and Uncle being Topper/Medalists in their graduations.
A Chartered Accountant by profession from ICAI, New Delhi.
His spouse Lion Madhu, is also an active Lion and they are blessed with two daughters Nupur and Rashi and a son Saket.
He is into the profession of Chartered Accountancy and Founder cum Managing Partner of Agarwal Hemant & Co., He is also promoter director of a consultancy firm North Bengal Consultants (P) Ltd.
SERVING THE CLUB
A lion of 25 years joined Lionism in the year 1997as a Charter Member of Lions Club of Siliguri Citizensand served as the Club President in the year 2008-09.
He was instrumental in planning and establishing the Amarpati Lions Citizens Public since its inception including preparation of Trust Deed and purchase of Land. He is regular member of School’s Managing Committee and has helped the school to achieve its present strength to 1500+ students in a span of only 8 years. He played a key role in obtaining 2 LCIF grants for the school.
SERVING THE DISTRICT
A man of leadership and devotion, Lion Hemant never looked back and worked with full devotion & dedication on all Cabinet Portfolios assigned to him over the years. He have served in various positions in the District including Cabinet Treasurer, Cabinet Secretary& LCIF District Coordinator
He was also appointed as Dist Coordinator under Campaign100 by Lions Clubs International Foundation for the year 2019-20.He has been instrumental in extending 7 Clubs.
ATTENDED
He has attended 2 Area Forums and many Multiple Conventions.
He is Graduatesof Advanced Lions Leadership Institute (ALLI) held at Colombo, Sri Lanka by Lions Clubs International and Regional Lions Leadership Institute (RLLI) held at Goplapur, Orissa by MD322.
He has been a faculty at Various Training Programs of Districts/ Multiple. He served as faculty at CS/CT Schooling in Kolkata at MD322.

He is past chairman of Siliguri Branch of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi.
He was Co-opted as Central Council Member of ICAI, New Delhi during 2015-16 and was also co-opted as Regional Council Member of Eastern India Regional Council of ICAI.
He is member of Siliguri Taxation Bar Association.
He is running a Charitable Trust in the name of his grandfather for education to poor Children.
He is also a Founder Trustee of Siliguri Salasar Charitable Trust.
He is member of Paschim Banga Pradesik Marwari Sammelan
He is also a Managing Committee Member of Siliguri Model Higher Secondary School.
