We the members of "Lions Club Of Siliguri Unity Wings"had organised a service activity on 1st July,2020 by distributing 50 packets of sanitary napkins to the needy.
On the auspicious day of Shilanyas of Ram Janam bhumi, we, Lions club of Siliguri Terai Shakti had lighted diyas while chanting hanuman chalisa on zoom.
A total of 15 members participated in the event.
We have organized a campaign - Food For All, under One District One Program, on 6 August 2020. In this campaign, we have served 200 mangoes ,200 lemons and 40 kg kichadi to the needy people. Two members of our club donated a total of Rs. 5000/- to make this service successful.

In this campaign, we have served 200 packets cooked food, donated 100 packets of puffed rice and 100 packets of biscuits to the needy people. A few of our members donated a total of Rs. 5500/- to make this service successful.

We invited LION ABHIJEET SEN our district GOVERNOR and IPDG Lion Sanjay Agarwal as our Chief quest..Lion Srawan Chowdhary was our Installation officer .

Lion Kamleshjee Kallani was also present to witness our Installation..Later on members we given their Pin by Lion Kamleshjee Kallani..
Award ceremony of our members for their services done also took place after the Installation..We promise to serve our society our nation wholeheartedly..
It gives me immense pleasure to share that we, lions club of Siliguri citizens crown, are overwhelmed as we take the privilege of introducing CQI - A Club Quality Initiative, introduced by Lions Clubs international for the 1st time in Dist 322f.
Our 1st series will be introduced with friendship day celebration on 2nd August .This has been possible because of the able guidance and hard work of President Lion CA Manisha Agarwal. Project Chairperson Lion Chanda Goenka has put in appreciable efforts to make this event exciting and full of activities for the active participation of all the members.

Lions Club of Siliguri Foothills organised a live CA Day Business Quiz on the occasion of CA Day.
Chartered Accountants in the district cabinet and members of the managing committe of the Siliguri Branch of ICAI participated in the virtual event.
The quiz was hosted by Quizorra . It was well attended by Lion members and Chartered Accounts .
The Teej Festival is an important festival for married women and a much anticipated Monsoon festival. It is celebrated by girls and women with songs, dancing and prayer rituals in many states of India.
We Lions Club of Siliguri Citizens Crown also celebrate it with full enthusiasm every year. The time is challenging at present due to the outbreak and rapid spread of corona Pandemic. But challenges are something a Lion is not afraid of but it is equally important for us to be safe and follow social guidelines. So we decided to celebrate this festival virtually using Zoom but not missing on any real fun and festivity.
The guest of honor was the 1st lady of the district 322f Lion Jubilee Sen. She is an active team member of women empowerment. She was also the judge of our Teej Crown Queen and Most Photogenic Crown Queen competition. The program was attended by the entire Citizens family. A beautiful cultural program was witnessed by all with graceful dance, songs, skit, games, poems, competitions and melodious flute and keyboard playing.
This could not be so memorable and enjoyable without the hard work put in by all the members of crown and support of our spouse club. Not to forget the contribution of all the talented children of our Club family who make each of our program rock by their innovative thinking.
Members of the Lions Club of Darjeeling handed over cases of Nescafe' Cold Coffee for the consumption of those undergoing quarentine at Bhanu Bhawan along with COVID 19 worriors consisting of police personnel, volunteers and staff stationed at Chowrasta Police Outpost & Bhanu Bhawan.The programme at the Bhanu Bhawan was conducted in the presence of Mr Lakpa Tamang Quarantine Centre Incharge.
Lions Clubs International District. 322F is organising MyLifeMyYoga, Drawing, Paragraph Writing, Yoga Gyan Quiz Competitions as to aware more and more about YOGA and its IMPORTANCE IN LIFE.
