Eye n diabetic camp jaigaon Shivalik.
Today Lions Club of Jaigaon Shivalik conducted Free Eye screening and Diabetes awareness camp in association with Alipurduar Lions Eye Hospital and Khokla Yuva Samaj Seva Club at Khokla Saraswati primary school in Khokla basti, Jaigaon. About 155 patients were screened and 15 were diagonised with cataract, who were referred for free Eye cataract operation.
Two such house (above in the picture) is being constructed by our club for recent flood affected tribal people of pakhuria near BSF camp at Kokradha camp. The BSF had strongly advocated for help as they had no body to support. The construction work is in process...
